Due to the tight fit between the deep groove ball bearing and the shaft and bearing seat after installation, there may be some difficulties in disassembling the bearing. Professional tools and methods should be used to avoid damage to deep groove ball bearings or equipment as much as possible.
1. Pushing method
Using a press to push bearings ensures smooth and reliable operation without damaging the machine or bearings. Pressure machines can be manually pushed, mechanically pushed, or hydraulically pushed. It should be noted that the press should be concentrated at the center of the shaft without any deviation.
2. Knocking method
The impact force is generally on the inner ring of the bearing and should avoid the impact point. Deep groove ball bearing ball cage or dust cover, this method is very simple, but it is easy to damage the bearing. When the deep groove ball bearing is located at the end of the shaft, a copper rod or other soft metal material smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing can be used to resist the end of the shaft, and it can be knocked with a hammer to remove the bearing. When applying this method, attention should be paid to the correct position and force point of the cushion block.
3. Pull out method
Use a specialized puller. When disassembling, simply rotate the handle and the bearing will be slowly pulled out. When disassembling the outer ring of the bearing, the angle between the two legs of the puller should open outward; When removing the inner ring of the bearing, the legs of the puller should be rotated inward and clamped onto the end face of the inner ring of the bearing.
Notes
1. The hook of the puller should be hung on the inner ring of the deep groove ball bearing, not on the outer ring, to prevent the bearing from becoming too loose or damaged;
2. When using a puller, the lead screw should be aligned with the center hole of the shaft and should not be skewed. At the same time, pay attention to the stress on the hook and bearing, and do not damage them;
3. Be careful to prevent slipping hooks;
4. The bending angle of the legs of the puller is less than 90 degrees.
4、 Hot disassembly method
Tightly fit thedeep groove ball bearing during disassembly. Firstly, pour the oil heated to around 100 ° C into the bearing to be disassembled in the oil pot. After the bearing ring is heated and expanded, a puller can be used to pull out the bearing.
Note
Firstly, install the puller on the bearing to be disassembled and apply a certain amount of tension;
2. Wrap the shaft with asbestos rope or thin iron sheet before heating to prevent the shaft from expanding due to heat, otherwise it will be difficult to disassemble. When removing the bearing from the bearing seat hole, only heat the bearing seat hole and not the bearing;
When refueling, the oil pot should be steadily poured onto the bearing ring or rolling element, and an oil basin should be placed below it to collect the flowing hot oil to avoid waste and burns;
4. Operators should wear asbestos gloves to prevent burns.
